WHAT ARE WE DOING?

A Global Water Dance! GWD uses the international languages of dance and film to promote awareness and a behavioral shift toward solutions for water preservation and conservation through community engagement!

WHY ARE WE DOING IT?

The Centre for Dance & the Performing Arts and Friends of Lake Apopka are partnering in this effort to raise awareness about the continuing need for support for the restoration of Lake Apopka. We believe the health and wholeness of the Lake is a reflection on the health

and wholeness of our community!

WHEN AND WHERE?

We will gather on the morning of June 10, 2023 at Magnolia Park (lakeside) with the official

event starting at 10am. Dancers will begin their preparation in March and we will keep you updated throughout the process!
